Thanks once again to Pete for hosting another great evening of flames, food and fireworks.

The gang handed the £35 they collected during the party to the wildfowl reserve. The reserve were very grateful and want a picture of them to go on their website.

Well done gang !!

Thanks to Roger who dug over the remainder of the verge and laid new turf.

Thanks too to Peter who supplied some raspberry plants which have also been put it – pies all round late summer then.

Just got home at 2pm – bin full of rubble in the middle of the road beyond the bridge that we had to move (in a plastic bin so didn’t look to be deliberate until we tried to lift it – it definitely didn’t blow over) then on the turn by Pounsley House all the white painted logs stacked up around a hoover in the middle of the road which also very dangerous? Has anyone got any info as this is not something that can be ignored, being a deliberate act
